Whilst the Brexit negotiations continue (with a healthy dose of Bad Faith thrown in the mix by The Conservatives) it’s good to revisit some of the things we were promised by the Vote Leave shysters back in 2016 in the lead up to the referendum.
This is not a lone outlier, this is endemic across the Brexit negotiations, the promises made by Vote Leave are not materializing. I’ve not seen any discernable benefits to Brexit appear as yet however I have personally experienced clear Brexit downsides including higher prices, lack of fuel in filling stations, empty shelves in shops, higher utility bills and staff shortages which have impacted my leisure actvities.
