Apple Bee Theatre Company make an audacious choice for their inaugural production – Kander and Ebb’s multi award winning production Cabaret.In Berlin (1931), as the Nazis rise to power, the seedy Kit Kat Klub plays to all comers – top of the bill is 19-year-old Sally Bowles and her dancers, compered by the incomparable Emcee. Featuring Willkommen, Tomorrow Belongs to Me and the eponymous Cabaret, this brand new production promises to be both contemporary and faithful to the original – so expect high kicks, high drama and risque surprises from Newbury’s newest theatre company.
