Hip Hop Innovator Kool DJ Herc has an undisclosed but expensive medical condition and is struggling to pay his expensive hospital bills. The USA should be fucking ashamed of itself, honestly, the worlds number one democracy will allow its citizens to be too poor to afford healthcare and therefore live, yeh Wow land of the free indeed!?? Thats some bullshit for another day though.

Kool DJ Herc needs your support to get his medical bills paid, and its more than fair to say that Hip Hop owes him money, so if you got anything you can donate to the cause – get involved. I ain’t got allot of cash but am sending cheque for £5 out today, as this is something I can really believe in. Hopefully allot of other people will afford the man the respect he deserves and donate too. After all without Herc we’d all still be listening to Disco.

Just got the word from DJ Premier that I can take down the donations address and his bills are getting handled. More details remain unknown. Hopefully we can hear an official text by Kool Herc himself as soon as possible. I guess he had a lot of donations from all around us… Word.
