It also fails to point out that Putin isn’t in a great position politically after sending perhaps half a million Russian conscripts to die in his beloved Meat Grinder. I suspect he’s more exposed now than at any other time in his reign.

So given all Trump could get Putin to concede was “limited” which in terms of a ceasefire means no ceasefire, limited firing is not a cease, despite his protestations he would get Putin to agree, I think Europe now has to put troops in Ukraine. I suspect the wording “limited ceasefire” is an attempt to dress it up as a win for his poor deluded soon to be Russian speaking followers.
